EXPERIENCE
About JR3 & Julian Rockett
JR3 Legal is led by Julian Rockett, an ASX specialist corporate lawyer and company secretary. Julian has been named company secretary for over 30 ASX-listed entities and engaged as a corporate lawyer for at least 20 ASX-listed clients — including roles as in-house general counsel, company secretary, and Head of Technical Advisory at Boardroom Pty Limited.
Julian spent three years leading technical advisory at Boardroom, one of Australia’s largest outsourced company secretarial providers. That experience gave him a clear view of what works about the outsourced CoSec model — and where it breaks down. JR3 was built to address the gap: a practitioner who combines genuine ASX Listing Rules legal expertise with hands-on company secretarial execution, delivered as a single engagement.

Sectors
JR3 focuses on ASX-listed small-to-mid cap companies in resources, energy and technology. These sectors share common characteristics: frequent capital-raising activity, complex interactions with the Listing Rules, and boards that need responsive, commercially aware advisory without the cost structures of large firms.
